Couldn't agree more. I've only had to block one person on Medium. And not even question any others. Quite the contrary, I have been astounded at the positive interactions. Compare this to Facebook, where at last count I had something like 30 blocks on people. Trolls are relentless there. All to say, I completely understand. And your hesitation is natural ... we always seem to think we're being the bad people by blocking. I've come to see that that's actually the most mature action one can take - neither belittling or doing battle with the negatives, nor allowing them to continue. Well done.
