Hi Neha, Yes, mainly because I always felt it was a personal right to choose, and a legitimate one. And that no government should regulate such a personal choice. What I can't ignore, however, is the unanimous agreement from survivors: the instant I did it, I regretted my action. That, and I have a personal conviction, not just belief, that if we do commit suicide, we're coming back to try again. And the very reason I'd considered it in the first place - not wanting to be here - was became my greatest reason for seeing it through. Which is all about depression, of course. I no longer feel like this. At 73 I am grateful for every day. Sorry to go on like this. And of course, I do still support assisted suicide for the terminally ill.
