I, ROBOT ALIEN — PART ONE

I, ROBOT ALIEN — PART TWO

Chapter Twenty-Three

After a few days at sea, life aboard the ship became routine and predictable. I had booked my passage in steerage to avoid too many close, daily interactions with the other passengers and crew. I was expected to eat my meals below deck in the company of immigrants, derelicts, and misfits. Meanwhile, Billy remained above deck, often hanging about the crosstrees of the topmast, attempting to look inconspicuous.
