My Curious Question for Medium Readers
Do You Listen?
I will make this really quick and short.
Do you listen?
Just idling around one day on Medium, I noticed a little green (sometimes blue) Listen Icon pasted atop the page.
What the heck?
Immediately, as we do in this day and age, I gave it an experimental click.
Holy Cow!
A voice was reading my story! Out loud!
Yeah, I know I shouldn’t have to say that.
But it was.
And you know what?
The voice reading was doing pretty damn well!
Better than I could, certainly.
Note: I don’t believe authors should ever read their own works. Especially poets. They never get the right emphases, if you can believe that. And they are always too dramatic.
What I want to know: Do you listen?
And one ancillary question.
If you must listen (being visually impaired) how does that work for you?
