Thank you! And yes, he was one of the great teachers. He assigned this in my 10th grade class, of all places - my World History class. I had him again in 12th grade for World Affairs. No other teacher ever challenged his students more to think for themselves, and he demanded that we engage with the world. And though, at some point, I'm going to create a post for this, I'm waiting to complete the first step. But I want to share it with you now. There is a Metaphysical Author whose every book I've read ... 10 now in the series. His name is Ivan Antic, and he's Serbian. A few years back, I wrote an Amazon Review of his book on the study of Samkhya. Although I gave him 5 stars for content, I did mention that his translation was so rough as to be an obstacle to understanding. A few weeks ago I was approached by his representative, asking me to contract to edit his 10 books for proper English. They felt I had the interest and the skills to do so. Well, I consider Ivan Antic to be the deepest thinker on the subject that I've read to date, so I was thrilled! I am currently editing the first book they chose, not in sequence, called: The Physics of Consciousness. It's a challenge, but one I am truly loving. And they are paying me handsomely to do this, proving their integrity by sending an advance to my account. I know I really rambled on here, but I just HAD to share this with someone, and I thought you might appreciate the synchronicity and mysterious intent behind it. What a world.
