This seems on point. The only caveat, it seems to be talking about non-fiction. I cannot imagine partnering as a writer for my novel. I can imagine, and actively am working at, partnering with a literary agent. I don't see any mention of this in the article, but my understanding is that a publisher won't even look at non-agented work. So I may be missing something, because I am speaking as one trying to get inside. What I do relate to is the extreme benefit of "partnering" with other authors the way we do here on Medium.
